Figurise #2 - HG Gundam Astray Blue Frame (22 Photos)

Hey guys, for this entry i would like to show you a few photos from my first GunPla collection MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame from Gundam Seed Series. This is my first experience on Gunpla collection also my first HG Collection. Now i got 5 HG collection. Yeah, this is the old model of HG and you can get this around RM46 till RM60 depends on what shop did you bought.

I have learned a lot of Gunpla techniques from internet and i'm enjoyed it. It was differ than collecting pre-fabricate action figures. It need a lot of workmanship. Yeah as i said before, it needs experience to build and finish it. So, i decided to go on this hobby. Below is a few photos from my collection. Yeah, enjoy you guys...

3 TAHUN 3 BULAN

Tiga tahun tiga bulan. Dari 27-07-2008 sampai 27-10-2011. Akhirnya, konvo jugak kesemua designer-designer dari Artemsia Studio. 3tahun yang pantas, 3tahun yang susah, 3tahun suka duka, 3tahun yang menyeronokan, 3tahun yang banyak mendewasakan. 

Walaupun tak semua dapat hadir, tak semua dapat menjejakkan kaki atas pentas, tak semua dapat merasa, tak bererti Artemasia tak bersama. Mungkin apa yang Tuhan takdirkan itu lebih baik dari apa yang dirancang oleh kita. Yang penting infiniti terima kasih untuk setiap designer, lecturer dan family masing-masing yang bersama-sama dalam kejayaan ni. Tahniah ARTEMASIA!

Media yang merosakkan KEPERCAYAAN.

Dua tahun lepas, kelas CTU part3. Dalam kelas ustaz ada cerita pasal filem "The Message-Story of Islam" berkisarkan kehidupan Muhammad SAW. Ustaz cakap movie ni dah lama dan pemimpin yang melaburkan duit utk filem ni ialah Muammar Gaddafi dari Libya. Cerita ni sangat menyentuh jiwa (bagi akulah) sebab kisah hidup Rasulullah sendiri adalah contoh terbaik sepanjang zaman. Dari situ aku cuma diingatkan bahawa Gaddafi adalah seorang pemimpin  Islam yang tegar memperjuangkan agama terutamanya bila ustaz kata "beliau tegas dalam PBB bila orang mempersoalkan tentang Islam".

Figurise #1 - MG Kamen Rider OOO 'Tatoba' Combo

Hey guys. For this entry i would like to share my new hobbies and a few photo from my action figure. Yeay! So, here i have my first Master Grade scale 1/8 Figurise Model Kit of Kamen rider OOO Tatoba Combo. I just started this hobby during hari raya Aidilfitri last month. Yeay! I'm so happy when i had finished it. It took 3 nights of model parts joinery and a few days to finish the surface(too slow for a new beginner huh?.haha). One thing i really enjoy with this model kit is it can act like a real human anatomy. It's great! But if we compared to other Kamen rider action figure, it needs a showmanship work, and it takes time to finish it. This is a start for my hobby journey as Modeler! Gyeah! Thats right! So, let see how can this figure act like. Review! ;D

Museum of Science Fiction (Sci-Fi) by 501st Legion

"Design is subjective, everybody can say good and 
everybody can say this is not good"

Ok, just for completing my portfolio. This is the first personal project of museum during semester 04. The 501st Legion is one of the sci-fi community fans. Different for this project is i'm trying to use technical drawing technique in my perspectives compared to common freehand drawing technique. An also my first presentation drawing using AutoCAD and Photoshop for 2d drawings.

p/s : probably this is the most monotonous design i've ever made. LOL

Project HEAD 01 - IRON MANG 'The Head Mang'

As-salam you guys. Dah banyak kali aku teaser kan Project HEAD aku kt orang ramai especially kt wall post aku. Project HEAD atau bahasa  melebornya aku gelar "Project HEroes and computer Artificial Design" atau bahasa ibundanya 'Projek Adiwira dan Senireka Buatan berkomputer'(panjang tak nama nya?haha) adalah salah satu hobi masa lapang aku dan salah satu teknik belajar aku dlm software 3ds Max ni. 

Guys, aku jenis xsuka blaja something yg straight forward tu pasal aku amik interior design. Aku suka explore dan sekarang ni 3dsMax 2010 memang jadi bahan experiment aku la. Aku jugak suka try something different dalam teknik 3d modelling. For this project, aku dah start dari tahun lepas lagi, tapi aku tertangguh pasal aku tak dapat lagi cara, konsep, teknik macam mana nak merekabentuk sesuatu benda dgn smooth. So alhamdulillah, sepanjang aku keje balik dgn company practical aku, aku banyak giler blajar dengan sifu Zoul Qwer pasal modelling, render setting, lighting. Semua lah! Banyak jugak aku nak share tutorial pasal modelling ni. Tapi everytime aku dah start nk bwt print screen lesson aku dah step ahead. So aku tgh nak blaja macam mana nak produce video for next tutorial.

So for this entry, aku introduce IRON MANG 'The Head Mang'. Kenapa 'MANG'? Ganu ke hape? Hehe, First sebab aku rasa tu keje aku dan tak perlu di samakan dengan original character. Second, nampaklah meleis version dia. And before this aku ada buat status kt fb 'Jika semua watak superhero berhelmetkan topeng iron-mang?' So, apa yang terjadi?  Hahaha. Ok. Enjoice!

Hey guys, dah lama giler aku xblogging. Well, tu memang perangai aku. Haha. This morning ada some of my juniors ask me for a few sample how to make a design proposal. So, ape yg terlintas 'dari aku bagi kt deme sorang jer, baik aku dok post entry dlm blog aku. Bior rajin sket pale ni nk memikiow nk menaip, bior rajin sket budak2 ni datang  bertandang.haha.'(betoi perak nyer yob?)Haha. Just kidding.

Lately, ramai junior2 yg byk bertanyakan soalan pasal proposal. Especially from Bulan Studio. And soalan bese yang dorang tanya, "ko dulu propose project ape?mcm mana nk propose project". I don't mind all this question, and i don't think this is annoying. Tu lah gunanya berbaik dgn senior. 

Ok dah cukup aku bebel. Kat bawah ni ada 2 proposal dari aku yg telah sendiri di-reject dan di-proceed. Nasihat aku, deme xyah nak eager sangat tang satu project, nanti xdapat giler meroyan karang. Well, aku dah rasa. Korang biler pulak? Haha.

Okay, hari ni aku nak repost-review pasal komik lama The JAM oleh Elphonso Lam dari HK. Berkisahkan Lam Muk Choi yang berkali2 mencari hala tuju hidup untuk tanggung hidup lepas berpecah dari band terkenal. Tapi dalam masa yang sama tak berputus asa dalam membina kembali zaman band. Dalam komik ni banyak review pasal band2 punk underground sekitar asia ni. Komik ni antara komik yang aku suka baca berkali2 bila waktu free dan salah satu reference bila aku melukis especially bila nak blaja psal anatomi seorang pemain muzik.

Book you MUST have #4 - Remember By BENJAMIN ZHANG

Actually, this is the most priceless graphic novel from Gempakstarz that i have. This comic books merge with a few illustration arts from the great artist Benjamin Zhang. Actually this is not the only Benjamin illustration book i've ever seen. There's another 2 illustration books (i forgot the title) i've borrow from Ujan and it is written in mandarin language. He was very commited with her work. The comic of "Fly/Remember", storied a bit about his life's and reality about artist life. This comic was the biggest influence of my works. Now, it is the 2nd book i had bought because the previous one has been lost. I've never lost it, again. Yeah!

Book you MUST have #3 - POPCORN Magazine

For local comic arts lovers and freelancer illustrator, you must know about this magazine. I'm started collecting this stuff since i can't borrow anymore from my friends.Hehe. Until now i still trying to find the previous issue of this magazine. Does anybody knows where i can find the first issue of Puppeteer and Benjamin Zhang? Seriously,this two man are really great at digital illustration. Anyway, thanks to Akmal(Hujan u r influenced my life) for introduce me to this stuff.

Cool Stuff #6 - WeWood Watches

Watches is the first important things when i'm going out. Seriously i hated metal strap watch. It so heavy and uncomforted. Most of my watch collection are made from leather strap or urethane rubber strap. Especially, my favorite Casio Edifice made from tough leather but sadly, the engine doesn't working anymore and theres no more warranty on it. Its okay.

Nowadays there are a new invention of wood watch and it so cool! I really like to wearing watch with my wooden bracelet. Wood are more sustain compared to metal. Metal would corrode someday but wood doesn't (except for made of silver or gold.haha). I think these watch are already invent a few years before, but since our world are always issuing the green design element, this watches can be a symbolic trendy for luxury or casual watches.

Weirdo Band (2007)

Jan 2007- Illustration ni mengambarkan influence gothic band dan emopunk yang pernah malanda mainstream di Malaysia suatu masa lalu. Fahaman radikal yang direka pasal unsur gothic+emo ni bukan la suatu yang baik bagi remaja waktu ni. Banyak bende pelik yg aku tengok dan dengar. Tapi fokus aku dekat band-band international macam The Used & My Chemical Romance. Even dorang selalu kene kutuk dengan band-band indie tapi dorang berjaya memperjuangkan muzik yang diorang suka dengan cara yang tersendiri.

Jan 2007 - Aku rasa macam nak jerit sekuat-kuatnya sepanjang masa. Kasi smua tension klua dari kepala. Sakit hati bila Y kata yang dia dah tak boleh terima aku macam sebelum ni. Sekarang aku dah lepaskan dia dan dia pun dah ada pengganti. Tinggal aku je keseorangan.

Reborn Back (2006)

Sebelum ni aku ada lukis illustration "Reborn" menceritakan rasa ingin bangkit dari ujian. Aku tak taulah aku pernah citer ke tak. Since aku sekolah kt SMK Sg.Pusu form 1, aku mmg rajin melukis dan simpan illustration aku. Waktu tu kebanykan kerja aku lebih kepada komik, anime dan benda-benda yg bersifat fantasi & surrealism.Tapi usaha 4 tahun aku hilang dalam masa seminggu jer. Semua work-work aku kena tibai dgn student kolej yg menetap kt hostel teknik aku. Gila, aku menangis sebabkan benda mcm ni jer. Tapi semua tu buatkan aku lagi kuat nak melukis. 

Semuanya buatkan aku lebih berhati-hati, dan lebih menghargai setiap lukisan yang aku buat. Haha.Segala gembira, sedih, marah, dalam kamus hidup aku gabungkan dalam karya selepas. Semuanya nampak biasa, seorang lelaki,seorang perempuan, berpasangan dan berkumpulan tapi tak semua orang tahu kisah disebaliknya ada suka duka. Aku mengaku, aku memang selalu plagiat kerja-kerja artist tapi itulah yang buatkan aku berbakat. Dari lukisan nilah aku dapat lukis balik "Aku".Kejayaan datangnya dari contoh yang baik. Aku tak kisah orang baca pasal hidup aku atau tidak. Sebelum ni,aku selalu tulis diari, dan smpai koyak diari tu kena baca dengan member-member sekolah. Kena bahan time tu mmg buat aku marah, tapi sekarang bila baca balik,

"Alangkah baiknya kalau aku lukis semuanya, mesti lebih baik dan xkan ada lagi orang gelakkan aku. Yeah, sebab diorang xboleh melukis mcm aku. Haha."

Tapi kisah ni dah lama, setiap kali dalam hidup ada benda bermakna. Kalau macam aku, aku suka kenangkan suatu benda yg lama. Macam kasi sikit motivate kt diri aku sendiri. Bukan mengenangkan suatu yang dah pergi. Aku lagi suka kalau kerja-kerja lama aku post lambat-lambat sikit. Aku tak nak suatu yang baru sentiasa dihadapan. Yang lama dilupakan.

Aku teringat lepas submit projek ni, Dr. Hasandi suruh aku print gambar dia lepas tu print dan framekan. Submit kat bilik dia. Haha. Ni la 2nd submission yang aku gunakan watercolor sebagai media dlm perspective aku.

Semuanya hasil dari sokongan Dr. Hasandi. Sumpah dia antara lecturer yang best. Master watercolor aku la katakan. Sampai sekarang pun, even beliau xmgajar aku lagi dia still cakap kat junior "Hang nak blaja watercolor pi jumpa Rasidi". Huhu=DD
